Managers lean very heavily on works to self manager and to provider insight into technology that do not understand or do not bother to learn, Many duties get pushed onto Technical Support Analysts that should be handled by different department or team. Managers can be very slow to reacting on teams request even if the request is for important or necessary tools Environment often gets very oppressive or result driven which at time cause team to feel that they are being lead of of cliff. Managers can often seem aloof of requirements for promotion.
