Everything is proprietary. This place is a career-killer. Experienced senior developer or software engineer, forget about relevant skills or resume building. PMP certified? Nobody there cares, nor would they help you if you were interested. They have their own program in-house. Seem completely oblivious to emerging industry trends. Treat employees like serfs. Upper management is completely disconnected from the realities of the office and seem unaware nearly everyone is looking to bolt as soon as the economy picks up. Everyone in middle management knows we're about to have a mass exodus and people have been resigning left and right even in a horrible economy. The company is not shrinking, but it is stagnating. Rampant favoritism makes it difficult to achieve career growth or even just get your job done.
