Vantaggi

After spending almost 17 years at Arkwin I can honestly say it truly is a great place to work. It's a family type atmosphere and the workers really care about each other. They make excellent products and the work atmosphere on the shop floor is a good one. There is always opportunities for advancement at every level so nobody has a stagnant position unless they want themselves to have one if you know what I mean. The pay is pretty good, I'd say better than competitive I know this because I moved to Arizona and trust me, no body is coming close to the money Arkwin pays.

Svantaggi

Health care packages are too expensive in my opinion. They were high before Transdigm purchased Arkwin and then only went higher, which makes no sense because now they are under the umbrella of a company with about 600 employees, it should be cheaper. Also, the end of the month rush on the final Saturday of the month is absolutely brutal. hours are too long and pressure to get last dollar out is just absurd.

Vantaggi

A few hardworking colleagues trying to do the right thing despite the chaos.

Svantaggi

Unrealistic Forecasting, Questionable Revenue Recognition, Lack of Guidance: Teams were left to operate in silos, with no alignment or leadership support. Poor Treatment of Direct Labor: The people doing the actual work were often the last to be considered. Overworked, under-recognized, and excluded from key decisions.
