Upper management is disconnected from reality. Constant penny pinching and finding small things to tweak to make your life harder. The entire freight industry has been in a recession for like three years and showing zero sign of recovery, despite what they will tell you. Meaning, you need to work 5x harder to make what you could have made a few years ago. Mix that in, with hundreds of reps fighting over the same tiny amount of leads. Very cut-throat, churn or burn mentality. If you stick it out for 2-3 years, someone big quits, your manager likes you, you can, get nice accounts, Virtually impossible to get started here at this time. If you are fresh out of college, and need a resume booster, stick this out for 1 year (if you cant find anything else).
