Vantaggi
Still contains a family culture in many places due to original long term employees keeping a feeling of care alive
Svantaggi
CEO is the first numbers driven Chief, in long line of Dr's. This ilis directly a correlation to ARUPs swift culture change post COVID. It's not even a difference in motivations, or archetype... But massive change in the trust worthiness of the decision making. The RTO for a large portion of the company was surfaced by a single email from the CEO, that spoke in vague business inflated terms like "innovation". No call out to the additional burdens placed upon the employees that instantly impacted. To put it bluntly. ARUP mostly gives raises on a scale of 1.0 to 5.0 percent, with a culture specifically modeling the bell curve. With the addition of RTO 2 times more a week, suburban commute of 40 minutes on a good day, a 3.5% raise, inflation and gas being at over 4$ a gallon...Based on Andy Theurers "innovative" decision, I'm in the hole quite a bit. But I'm afraid that's the point. RTO is likely an opportunity to force people to quit, or set them up to be terminated. And it's vaguely hidden. And that's a first for ARUP
