- Company has become increasingly micromanagement-driven, with its culture and employee experience seemingly taking a back seat. - The company deserves credit for embracing the rapid growth of AI and making it a key strategic priority to drive AI adoption across the organisation. However, implementation remains uneven across teams, and some departments are still struggling to effectively integrate AI into their day-to-day workflows and processes. - The current People Team (excluding the recruiters, who continue to do a great job) appears to be failing. Concerns are not always addressed in a timely or effective manner that leads to a growing sense of disconnect between employees and the function. There is also a growing sentiment among many others that lead of talent operations team adopts a hands-off approach, sometimes clueless and not responsive, resulting in a lack of accountability. Compared to a year ago, many of us felt that the level of support, engagement, and overall effectiveness of the HR team has declined greatly. - Rapid changes and pivoting dampens productivity and motivation. Oftentimes, the efforts of us the engineers and product team goes down the drain just like that. - Layoffs, no bonus, benefits cut. Low salary hike. - Going too aggressive with US launch might backfire though
