Started an evolution of the culture and the organization towards a more open minded, innovative environment...from the entrenched old-school insurance model, driven entirely by actuaries and the legal department....However, did not stay the course of change...rather in restructure / cost saving mode.

Management change, restructuring. Old-school culture in place. No a very dynamic environment. Employees on a whole not very challenged, most are punching the clock. Now shedding 2 business units. A 'mid-western culture' they call it...with people very pleasant to your face...then a lot of backstabbing...no intelligent discourse or dialogue at all. 'Emperor has no clothes' mentality.
