You get a decent starting wage as an associate and there is room for growth within the company if you make it known to your managers that you are looking to move up. If you volunteer, GAP will convert your volunteer hours into a dollar amount and donate it to the organization you volunteered for.

Inconsistent hours. Scheduling is based on how the store did the previous year and what the daily goal/budget is. There's usually more managers scheduled than associates, which means if you're the only associate scheduled for the morning or evening, then you're pretty much by yourself since the managers usually do office work in the back.
