Nice people to work with, culture of promoting internally, encourages professional development opportunities outside of work. Health benefits are great. Pay is fair but not competitive. There is a checkbox need for affirmative action hires, so that is one way to get your foot in the door.

Borderline discriminatory practices/policies at the local leadership levels. Authenticity, diversity of thought, and truth is not valued unless it fits into the hunting/fishing/sports culture. Innovation is not only not valued, but it is discouraged. Turnover is found primarily with the best and brightest employees which should be a red flag for intellectuals.
