- compared to other Gov bodies, the quantum for bonuses and increments is lower than average. Starting pay for fresh grads as well were on the lower end. - there's a lot of peak periods (for my team/division) and for parents, you can say goodbye to End-Year holidays with your kids because you'll be working and maybe doing OT. But again, depends on which team you're in. - Work volume was crazy and it kept increasing in complexity and volume each year while headcount stayed the same. - I was at the whim of the clients and some of their annoying practices or mistakes were not addressed and had to just suck it up and OT on our end. - expect office politics
