This is a great position for building your HR knowledge base, and you can become quite the knowledgeable professional in short order. You also have a lot of control over your time and how you manage your clients.

The company is of a size where there is little formal training. This is being addressed, but a more robust training program would help. Since this is a client-facing position, you are sometimes put in the position to take the fall for something that isn't your fault. That can be difficult to manage.
