Preferential treatment by management of personnel they 'like' as opposed to those who are best qualified. Destruction/disappearance of any documentation either embarrassing to the company or store in question, cover-ups of employee misconduct rampant, qualified employee promotion or evaluation procedures neglected in favor of the staff who are friends with the management. Training program seriously lacking or non-existent or not followed at all from General manager position on down. Lack of communication and/or information intentionally withheld by management. Management often working far less than hours reported to company officials, leaving their work to be completed by lower management or regular staff. Many staff/managers haven't had performance evaluations completed for them in over 2 years when they are required twice yearly or annually for managers.
