On the software side, the main problem is they develop elite talents and then let them walk because they are unwilling to open up their pocket books. Like a lot of insurance places, they are insurance places, not software places so this is understandable. They started a promotion process that requires you to get software designations. The problem with that is people put the work in and then leave for higher pay.
