5yWe agree. Our teams at Availity feel like family, and we are lucky to work with such talented, smart people to help improve the healthcare industry. Our HR team has been working hard this past year to enhance our benefits and we couldn’t be happier with some of the recent changes including the addition of paid parental leave. Research shows it’s one of the strongest ways a company can support women. These efforts are something we’re really proud of, so thank you for noticing!
On the topic of diversity, we disagree. Availity is (and has been) a diverse organization, and it’s growing more diverse every day. We know that we need to improve diversity at our management and senior leadership levels—but we are working on that. Ongoing dialogue and efforts focused on diversity are important to us....watch our efforts grow!
Women can (and do) thrive at Availity. There is a tremendous amount of talent among the women we have working at Availity. From our She Can Code It-sponsored women in technology group to our new “AvaiLadies” group formed from our D&I program, the women at Availity are active in promoting, recognizing, mentoring, celebrating, and recruiting women in HIT. We strongly encourage women to join our team!
