We are sorry that you felt like connections outweighed skills in terms of growth and opportunity. Indeed, building a solid network and deepening relationships with colleagues and leaders can help you in your career, but that growth strategy holds true in most organizations. Skills are essential at Availity.
We couldn’t agree more with your advice regarding our hard-working technical support associates in Availity Client Services. Many of our tenured associates started their careers at Availity in ACS, and we even created our Passport Program to ensure even more find their way to other roles in the company once they build their amazing knowledge base. In 2021, we promoted 51 associates from Availity Client Services to more advanced positions throughout the organization, and we promoted 32 in 2020.
We also recently launched our new personalized learning program, Succeed, to help everyone build and develop the skillsets they feel they need to progress in their career—at any level.
