Took a job with Avionos back in late 2022 that was supposed to start in July 2023, was planning on moving out of state to Chicago and had already signed on a lease. 10 days out from start of job they delayed offers to a potential date of October with no guarantee. This came as a complete surprise and shock and there was little to no assistance with this extremely last minute business decision. Recently got word that October was also a no-go. Delayed 9+ months of job searching only to wind up with nothing but complications revolving around getting out of my lease, finding a new job, etc. Understand that businesses have to face layoffs and things can happen unexpectedly, but the lack of transparency, honesty, and communication was insane. If you are going to screw over such a large group of intended hires the bare minimum could be honest and transparent communication. This was handled so poorly and has been an all-around terrible situation, I would not recommend.
