Due to furloughing all graduates and freezing recruitment for 12 months during covid, they are still chasing their tails to make up the resource deficit. The Big 4, other top ten and industry firms are running rings around them in the recruitment market. That means everyone is flat out, always busy, always working with no sense of work life balance. Revenue growth is always expected despite headcount not going up. The IT, HR and financial management systems are frustrating, don't speak to each other and there is an unbelievable admin burden on managers, senior managers and directors.
