      they weren't bailed out. so they seem like a secure place to work going forward. especially compared to the other banks out there.

      slow old everything bad about a big institution. hopefully they can turn it around going forward. i wouldn't work there again.

      Work life balance is good for the most part.

      Everyone in upper management (including our CEO) has come from JP Morgan or Goldman Sachs while employees who have worked at BNY for 20+ years are not being chosen for promotion opportunities. Looking to juniorize the company yet give zero training and support for analysts starting out. The culture has completely changed over the last few years, looks like a different company.
