Management is not supportive of the employees and treats its subordinates with disrespect. The department is severely understaffed and issues always arise due to the fact that there aren't enough people to complete the job yet no new people are being hired to help the situation. You are also not allowed for much downtime during work in our Finance department and any attempt to have a chat with a coworker or go out for a long lunch will be reprimanded and is considered unacceptable, you basically are expected to sit in your cubicle all day and not get up. The pay is also ver low and below national average.
