While they have a large presents in the Oklahoma market because of the amazing philanthropic venture that they execute they lack the ability to allow for new ideas and ways of accomplishing tasks and goals to be executed in a manner that allows the person who has been given charge to thrive and grow personally. They are a large corporation that fail to execute with excellence like the national banks do on many levels from their client experience down to the very core of what gives the financial institution their face which is their people. They thrive on what they call the BOK culture but the execution behind the words is failing where it counts in actions. The promise big things with little support and actions behind what they promise to be the best designs you have every made. The training is lacking and the execution of development is stale. Anyone who has every made it to another place from where they started with this company has only been because they knew someone directly or knew someone who knew someone. The nepotism is wide spread. The passion and drive along with your talents and experiences will easily be distinguish as you attempt to move or suggest things to your direct management. They will come at you to gain your trust and your buy in with all the bells and whistles but will fail you in execution on their part after you accept the challenge. The bureaucracy that the ELT team and their direct mangers along with the blind support of the HR staff is beyond anything I have experienced in my long career in this industry. They hire from outside while telling those inside who are asking to be developed that they are working on things to do so but what you bring to the table right now is just not enough for use to chose from within.
