We worked remotely for 15 months successfully. My department especially thrived in the remote environment. They forced every employee back into the office without any explanation other than "don't you miss seeing people"? No. I miss the money and time I saved working remotely. Childcare, gas, food, clothes. Does uppermanagement care that they gave us a paycut forcing us back? No they don't.
