The firm is run like a fraternity club by the upper management where if you are one of the boys you will do well. But if you are not then you will suffer. While I was there I worked for three separate supervisors changing from month to month. The training is totally lacking, they expect to know, how to do everything within their corporate culture without ever having worked there before.
They give minimum direction and expect you to bang out CAD drawings within a few hours to just days without proper research materials. People were being fired left and right if they did not make this informal quota system.
You are expected to work long hours (10-11 hour) days with pay that is barely above min wage. There are no raises or promotions. PTO is also sub standard as is the training.
They are also very shady and lie to their employees. They stated to one guy to increases his production within the next week and then fired him 2 hours later. They also post fake reviews on this site and every time a bad review is posted they counter with a fake review about how great it is to work at BPG Designs. It will happen after this review too.
