Vantaggi
I like the company because it's no BS. My PM/Team Lead is a straight shooter, gives you honest answers, and goes to bat for you and your team mates hard. If you have a suggestion, you can go to the PM or even email the CEO (which I've done before) and someone always gets back to you. It's a smaller company, I don't feel lost in the employee pool that way. Work life balance is a positive as long as you are performing and the customer/client is pleased, which is more than fair in my opinion. Tuition and professional membership reimbursements are available which help you to become better in your field while adding to the marketability of yourself and the company. There are also some pretty nice gestures sent in times of sympathy or celebration that a lot of the larger companies no longer do. Not a big deal to some, but it lets you know that someone cared enough to notice whatever the event was. I also like that the company is actively seeking to engaged with its employees. There are morale boosters like Spring events where the company invites employees and their families to amusement parks or company events on their dime. I don't see that too often any more and the fact that a smaller company still does it really stands out.
Svantaggi
As with most small companies, there are some medical benefits that could be better, but the stuff I need is covered so no real complaints there.
