Basler has a quality product and a strong position in a very niche market. When I started, the benefits were good.

As time went on, the pay and benefits became drastically uncompetitive. Turn over is very high as management either sets unreachable goals or eventually drives away their best employees with unnecessary office politics, strange policies and lack of company culture. The head office in Germany has a strong need to be in total control of the major dealings or business decisions made in their subsidiaries. This leads to many problems and lost business with how quickly they drop any type of new innovation if it doesn't show promise in a very short time. Most innovation is stifled as the resources are slow to integrate new technology or services and has a hard time reducing cost on new endeavors to make them viable. Aside from some petty workers and the lack of innovation, Basler provides little in the way of career growth. This includes limited raises or bonuses (if any), no advancement in job title, very low base salaries, and a strange affinity for hiring people who won't stir up the status quo. Until the majority of the middle and upper managers change, I would avoid seeking employment here.

Great co workers, vacation and sick time. CEO is great but in another country. Cutting edge technology

A lot of turn over, little compensation for absorbing roles/twrritories.US based location is not treated as an asset. Very disorganized, no HR, no SOP’s for local branch. Not a lot of room for growth.
