The new CEO made some questionable changes that burned our amazing culture to the ground. A majority of the team left because we decided a toxic environment was no longer worth it. I can guarantee you it wasn't because of "The Great Resignation". There are countless of "under the table" practices happening in this department now and cronyism is a big one. Sneaky offline conversations and intentions to not leave a trail in writing are typical practices within. HR will have you fill out an exit survey but if it doesn't preach how great the workplace was, chances are it may or may not get in front of who really needs to see it.
