Great people Challenging but rewarding

Some of the incentives for children are outdated. Manager expectations are too high. Lots of agency staff

Benjamin is the most inclusive place I have worked, they make a real effort to make sure your individual needs are met and are kind in doing so. I have never felt judgement from other staff for my differences whilst working here. I find all staff work together well. I am comfortable speaking to anyone in the company regardless of their position, as everyone is treated equally and respected for their input. The children we look after have been through a lot, and that shows in some of their difficult behaviours, but working with them to overcome the harm that was done to them is so rewarding, especially looking back at their progress over time. I also think that the communication styles across the organisation are really open and clear, and there is always clear and accessible support/guidance available if you are uncertain about something.

Working with trauma can sometimes be overwhelming and heavy, but this is outweighed by the impact you have and the change you see in the children
