Best Buy tends to be a strong network of friends and aquaintances. They are a very innovative company, always coming up with ways to improve business and the customer/employee experience. It is a pretty laid back atmosphere with a great discount, good benefits and pretty decent pay. Also they are fairly flexible with availability, and will work well around other jobs, school, or other personal events.

There is definitely a significant amount of favoritism at Best Buy. Promotions happen due to job performance, but also definitely due to popularity within the management team. Leadership also seems to not take employee's development very seriously, at least not in my store. Lastly, management tends to be inconsistent in decision making, which often is against company policy.
