Full of extremely lovely people who are friendly and kind. No one's trying to take anyone down and everyone supports each other's work across teams, answering questions and often volunteering to lend an extra hand in the lab when they don't have to. Questions asked of presenters in meetings are equally supportive. Work from home hours are very limited, but I've never once been asked to work over 40hrs/week. There's a lot of flexibility when it comes to doctor's appointments, kid pickups, even taking dogs to the vet, and that makes a huge difference. The executives seem like really genuine people who want to do the right thing. They may not always hit the mark, but they seem genuinely invested in making the company a success down to the lowest level, and they do listen to feedback.

My direct manager is a wonderful person and mentor, so that has led to a great experience for me and more flexibility with my schedule; I understand not everyone has the same caliber of relationship there so they may have a harder time or not get as much flexibility, and I know a few people who are unhappy for that reason. Promotions are only done once a year and are only given very sparingly, which is not how I would do it if it were my company. However, everyone is given an annual raise at that same time of year regardless of promotion, which is the company's way of balancing things out.
