Unfortunately, I was laid off today. The reason given? "No projects and not enough work in the company." But the truth seems different. It feels like some managers and high-level HR members were playing their own game, and instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, they put the blame on me and removed me from the company. They claim these are just rumors, yet suddenly, I was laid off. If this decision was fair, why didn’t my TL know anything about it? Just a few days ago, I had my review call, and everything was positive. So, what really changed? The company had a great culture earlier, but after a new manager came in, all the happiness disappeared. Now, it feels like they only want people who blindly follow their instructions—if you don’t, they turn against you and play their own games.
