This change has been nothing short of transformative. The new leadership team has not only set a clear, ambitious vision for our future but has also empowered employees at every level to contribute to our collective success. The emphasis on open communication, transparency, and collaboration has been a game-changer. Investing in People and Culture One of the most significant changes has been our renewed focus on employee development and well-being. It's incredibly rewarding to see our employees thriving and feeling valued in their roles. Employee attrition of our workforce has dramatically reduced and is now currently below the Industry ‘norm’. We've relocated in the past couple of years and our new office space creates a more vibrant, collaborative, and inspiring environment that truly reflects our dynamic culture. Morale and Motivation on the Rise Employee morale has soared as a result of these positive changes. We have seen a significant increase in job satisfaction and a renewed sense of pride in being part of Bizerba. However, I can confidently say that those reviews do not reflect the current state of our organisation. We have addressed past issues head-on and have made substantial improvements across the board. Our office space was definitely showing its age, with outdated facilities that weren’t conducive to a modern work environment. Fortunately, we have invested in substantial upgrades in our office move. In the past, we struggled with high employee turnover, which was a significant concern. However, we've implemented better support systems and created more opportunities for career development, which have made a positive impact. Nevertheless, there is room for further improvement as we continue to refine our strategies to retain talent.

The company frequently promotes its culture and values, but the employee experience often falls short of those expectations. High performers are routinely rewarded with additional responsibilities without corresponding compensation or career growth opportunities, while performance standards appear inconsistent across departments. Advancement can feel influenced more by relationships and visibility than by results. Employees who struggle in one role are often reassigned rather than held accountable because of said relationships, creating frustration for those who consistently perform at a high level. As a result, many talented employees eventually leave due to burnout, limited development opportunities, and compensation that does not reflect their contributions. Leadership communication lacks transparency, particularly regarding company performance and business decisions. There is a noticeable disconnect between executive messaging and employees' day-to-day experiences. Cross-functional collaboration can also be challenging, with departments sometimes focused on assigning blame rather than solving problems collectively. Compensation practices in certain areas appear outdated and make it difficult to attract and retain talent. Operational and commercial decisions are not always aligned with long-term business success, which can create additional challenges for employees trying to deliver results. Overall, the organization has capable people and significant potential, but inconsistent leadership, accountability, and decision-making make it difficult for employees to see a clear path for growth and long-term success.
