The culture -- laid back, yet very serious about what we do. The benefits -- not great compared to other software companies, but great for this area. The opportunity -- if you have drive, you can succeed here and work your way up. The actual work -- very cool to be making a product that helps nonprofit organizations help others.

Really could use better benefits, like other software companies. Perhaps fringe benefits would be a better word. Also, the pay is not up to par with other software companies, but it's good for this area. The benefits and pay are part of the reason Blackbaud is not top of the list for developers. Bonuses and stock options are reserved for management, and this is a very management heavy company.
