It is unfortunate that an employee left our company feeling the way they did. We spend great time and care to ensure that our employees are treated fairly. Blastec is full of good, hard working individuals that care about the job they do and the quality product that is produced as a result of their efforts. All salaried employees are fairly compensated and our manufacturing employees are offered a competitive rate. Blastec offers a full coverage benefits plan that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term and Long Term Disability, FSA and a 401K Plan. We are proud to cover over 90% of the Employees Medical premium and over 40% of their Family Coverage. The Short Term and Long Term Disability Policy are provided at no cost to the Employee and the 401K plan has a very competitive Employer Match. We do not allow vacation carry over as it is our policy that everyone needs to take their vacation. Additionally, salaried Blastec Employees accrue sick time for every hour they work. If this were not the case, our average salaried Employee tenure would be less than the 11 years we are currently boasting in our 37 years of being in business. Employees are expected to meet the schedules set forth by Management. We pride ourselves on meeting the schedules set forth by our Customers. The quality and integrity of our product is supported and maintained by our degreed Mechanical Engineering personnel on staff. We are always considerate of the extra effort put forth by all of our Employees when necessary especially by those in our Field Services and Customer Services departments who spend the majority of their time away from home performing installations and training.
