Working at Blockskye has been one of the most disheartening and frustrating experiences of my professional life. As an employee, I had high hopes for my role, but the reality of the workplace was far from what I expected. The management operates with a blatant disregard for equality and fairness, fostering a deeply racist atmosphere that is both shocking and unacceptable. From the very beginning, I noticed a troubling pattern: favoritism based on race. It was disheartening to witness how certain employees were treated with respect and support, while others faced constant scrutiny and discrimination. When I decided to report these issues to HR, I was met with a wall of indifference. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, HR sided with management, effectively silencing the voices of those who dared to speak out against the injustices happening within the company. In retaliation for going to HR, I was placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), a punitive measure that felt more like a personal vendetta than a legitimate assessment of my work. This was clearly a tactic to intimidate employees into silence and compliance. The management would often make up policies after the fact, reprimanding employees for violations that were never clearly communicated. This is not only unprofessional but also creates an environment of confusion and fear. One of the most egregious practices I encountered was the deduction of Paid Time Off (PTO) for hours worked beyond the standard schedule. If a call required me to stay late, I was penalized by losing precious PTO hours. This practice not only violates basic labor rights but also demonstrates a complete lack of respect for the personal time of employees. Additionally, the lack of support for mental health and well-being is alarming. The management shows no understanding of the stress employees face and offers no resources or assistance. Instead, they promote a culture where everyone is expected to work through their struggles without any acknowledgment or help. The overall atmosphere at Blockskye is toxic, filled with anxiety and tension. Employees are pitted against each other, fostering a cutthroat mentality that discourages teamwork and collaboration. Morale is at an all-time low, and many of my colleagues are actively seeking other job opportunities, desperate to escape this oppressive environment. In conclusion, I urge anyone considering employment at Blockskye to think twice. The management's racist practices, retaliation against whistleblowers, and unprofessional conduct create a workplace that is not only unlawful but also deeply damaging to one’s mental health and career. This is by far the worst job I have ever worked for, and I hope that by sharing my experience, I can help others avoid the same fate.
