The clinicians and RBTs are incredible. Since BlueSprig has touted itself to be different than other PE run ABA companies, many extremely high quality BCBAs and RBTs have joined this company. Overall, clinics are fairly individualized, and the culture is contingent on the Clinical Director and Operations Manager who runs that location. In my clinic, we have amazingly talented RBTs who genuinely care about each client, BCBAs who are focusing on quality ABA, and an OM who puts families and staff first.

Don't let the mission statement fool you. This IS yet another PE funded ABA company that is focused on profits. Weekly KPI meetings are de-moralizing and focused on the numbers. Everyone knows that a company must make money to keep the doors open; however, the general message to the CDs and OMs who run each clinic is to get those clients in and get them in fast. Upper management cares very little about how the clients are progressing. We are reprimanded for not being able to get diagnostic paperwork fast enough even if that is out of our control. According to BSP, there are no barriers to getting as many kids in as fast as possible. We have been incentivized to bring in an absurd number of clients by February 2021. It doesn't matter if your clinic is currently at capacity, the same number of clients (hours) are expected across all clinics in order to earn the incentive. Clinical directors and operation managers do not receive pay raises, not even after 1 year to adjust for inflation. I am honestly alarmed at how quickly the ethics in this company are slipping. Corporate puts very little in writing, so when things change and then change again (especially during this pandemic), everyone is confused and being told different versions of things. BSP expects you to foresee the future. You must hire exactly the right number of staff at exactly the right time or else you will be in trouble for not being able to on board new clients quickly or you will be in trouble for being over staffed. No matter what you do, you cannot make them happy unless you are billing 60+ hrs per week as a Clinical Director (which is sadly not an exaggeration). Unless things change very very soon, this company will be exactly the same as the rest of the "biggest ABA providers" in the US.

The RBTs and BCBAs are great and truly care for the children. You are able to work with a multitude of children and staff instead of a small team. They provide decent insurance.

This company does not put money into the clinics or stimuli for the clients. If you need something for a child, expect to have to purchase it with your own money. Bluesprig also does not provide any RBTs for administrative tasks so if you need materials made, you have to do it on your personal time at home. Additionally, with no admin time the clinics become dirty. If I toured one of the nearby clinics, I would not send my child there due to the filth on the walls and toys. When you are provided with an evaluation, it is 6 months after the review period. It is obvious that the CEO has no behavioral background because there are no incentives to motivate RBTs (or the children for that matter). This is the consensus of multiple BCBAs and RBTs from different clinics, not just my opinion.
