Vantaggi

The software stack is fairly interesting, but also has some legacy baggage. The coworkers are very friendly and helpful. The office mood is upbeat and relaxed.

Svantaggi

Legacy projects still in active development. A bit of resistance towards fixing technical debt. Goals and priorities change constantly. The management's preference (at least so it seems) is to implement new features on top of the old foundation, which often leads to doing the same feature over and over, to fix the necessary kludges.

Favoritism for sure. Contract employees get undervalued and overworked (especially if its not within their assigned roles that they came into the company with). You will be thrown work from different departments and get yelled at as to why you aren't doing he work correctly (even if you were just trained on it for a day). Go figure. You will be watched like a hawk by CS Management to the point where you wonder if they are even doing their own job since they're watch your every move/micromanage you. Working environment seemed very "juvenile" especially when Senior Management personnel were not in the office. In such cases, I've not only seen but have experienced myself how "senior" employees communicated very condescendingly. HR never got involved nor seemed like they care to take initiate. Place seemed very disoriented. During my time there, the SF CS Management was fully aware of employees who were overworked and knew of their concerns but never take appropriate action and delegation to relieve the situation accordingly.
