I have been at Boomi 4.5 years and the last 5 months, I have been happier than ever here, and its truly the happiest, most fun job Ive ever had, and ive had some super fun and great jobs. Boomi invests in their people. We have great ERGs. Our entire ELT and new ELT members are inspiring, caring, and tenured in the stage we are in, and know how to grow us to the next stage. We have great benefits from HR. Our people are very collaborative and out to help eachother be successful. Great people and company values and we actually live them. Boomi is on a rapid trajectory to being a top SaaS company and is already a top iPaaS company. Its a super exciting time and tons of ability to make an impact.

It was a bit challenging divesting from Dell and becoming a standalone company. There were many changes all at once, which was tough. I believe our teams handled it so well in standing up new HR, IT, Finance departments and evolving legal. So glad I stuck it out. It has been challenging in the past to move into leadership as an IC or move to AE from Business development because a lack of openings and competitive market. This is starting to get better and I believe with our growth many opportunities will start to open up.

The primary solution is strong with a loyal client base. Comp packages are generous and achievable in the right territory.

Sales leadership is really weak. Many larger deals are compliance related and the net new Enterprise clients are few. So growth is not what they claim it to be. Boomi has made a big investment in AI and within the platform there is a strong solution to aid in development, but enterprise wide adoption of AI is going to the big players like Microsoft, Google, AWS. There are very few promotions from within, the tendency is to hire people from outside versus developing .
