Executive team is incredibly helpful when you want them to be. The mission and product that bostongene has built for Biopharma is second to none. The support teams from project managements to technical experts are top of their class. The members of the business development team are incredibly helpful, always willing to provide useful feedback, and lend a hand whenever and however possible. CEO is a visionary, he is hands on when requested and will lend his years of business acumen to supporting your project or in helping you find the right resources should you need them. Wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in this field

In the time I have been at bostongene I have no cons. Leadership has allowed me time to deal with family crisis without a single question, the entire group has quickly felt like true friends who want to help each other, and the support and solutions are everything I would want in a company
Vantaggi
Remote work flexibility and some supportive coworkers.
Svantaggi
During my time at the company, one of the biggest challenges was a lack of alignment across leadership. Expectations were not always clearly communicated, and guidance could vary depending on who you spoke to, which made it difficult to consistently meet expectations. Professional development and long-term growth opportunities also felt limited. There did not appear to be a strong or structured focus on helping employees progress in their roles. The company places significant emphasis on promoting a “family” culture during hiring and onboarding. However, the day-to-day experience did not always reflect that level of support. I also experienced confusion around performance management processes. Although I had received positive feedback from my direct manager, I was later placed on a two-week PIP initiated by another manager. The short timeframe and change in management involvement made expectations unclear and made it challenging to navigate the process effectively. At times, the work environment could feel political. While there were supportive individuals on the team, there was also a noticeable sense that employees needed to be cautious in certain situations. There was also an emphasis on encouraging employees to share personal experiences in team settings. However, in my experience, information shared in those contexts could later be referenced in professional discussions, which made it difficult to feel fully comfortable being open. Overall, greater consistency in leadership communication, clearer expectations, and more structured support for employees would improve the work environment.
