The people in the gym are fantastic, from the setters to the front desk to the instructors. The schedule is relatively flexible (though be prepared to work lots of overtime and be essentially on call if you are a salaried employee) The company is fairly inclusive.

Low transparency—decisions are made at the corporate level with very little real input from staff. The pay is minimum wage for youth programs instructors and front desk employees, and the company does not provide merit-based increases to those employees when minimum wage goes up. Salaried employees make the minimum amount that can legally be paid without paying them for overtime. Constant pivoting—every month or two there is a new initiative or core focus or software to utilize without a lot of transparency, preparation, or follow through from the central corporate team, which continues to undergo massive personnel changes with little to no explanation or announcement. General managers are so wildly overworked that HR issues and many projects fall through the cracks and lead to poor follow-through and low support. Strong anti-union messaging from General Managers and above. Incredibly high turnover.
