-Dead-end road for non-Phd employees -Favoritism/Good old boy ethics keeps silos in place. -No moral standards- customers’ priorities valued over all else -Zero accountability for management, and no pathway improvement. -Only requirement for becoming a manager is to have a Phd, or pretend to be an expert in any subject matter. -Directors are not concerned about lower level employees concerns and see them as replaceable. -Most managers have no prior experience outside of academia. -There are “Talent Retention Specialists “, but they are not even able to offer anything other than an exit interview. Absolutely no attempts made to retain valuable assets.
