Vantaggi
-Co-workers, amazing folks are doing all the non-executive work -Clients, at least many I had the pleasure of working with -Tech supporting the day-to-day work is nicely industry standard (jira, zendesk, slack, etc.) -Working remotely with little to no travel required, depending on the job
Svantaggi
-Zero job stability. Seriously, none. If you love the feeling that every day could be the day you're fired, then this is the place for you. -Poor compensation compared to similar roles at other companies -Management does the bait-and-switch constantly. Example: Quarterly bonus of XX amount for 75% billing utilization becomes X yearly bonus for 75% utilization becomes "maybe you'll get a little something extra" for meeting the now required 75% utilization. All over the course of 6 months. -No longer any respect by management of work-life balance. They talk out of both sides of their mouths on this - "embrace your work-life balance" and "look at the excess hours these amazing folks put in, even during holidays/weekends/PTO - yay!" -Constant change, as if the reason money is tight is because one of the last four PM software options was holding us back. With constant change comes constant stops to your work as you learn the new software and new rules for your working process.
