Belittling higher management who will do anything to put more work on you but won't even consider a salary raise. If you don't do as asked the response is " it is part of your training and development and you have to give a little to get a little", but the giving part is only one sided and you won't be compensated for doing a job 3 grades higher than yours. Incompetent higher management who are more interested in telling everyone about themselves rather than helping a crippling team with a low morale, ignorance is bliss as long as they're okay. Length of service equates to experience which is not the case. Pushing staff for internal promotions when they aren't ready just to make the terrible staff turnover look good. Managers are degrading and unless your happy to treat staff like a number you won't fit in. Challenging management is always an confrontation because there's no training for managers and they can't deal with criticism, even when it's genuinely constructive. Nepotism to the highest degree allowing friends and family who come into the business to follow different rules to everyone else. Constantly overworked and asked to more with no benefit or even gratitude. Managers (not all but most) are in a clique and like nothing more than to go the pub for 3 hours every other Friday when there team is picking up their work cause they can't manage themselves. Management sending emails for team to complete and needing a response by COB however you can see from the chain they received it 3 months ago however the onus now on you in an attempt to obsolve themselves from incompetency. No care for mental health and it's more of an eye roll when staff say there stress and a joke is made out of it. Multiple complaints made against managers which either 'go away' or result in staff just leaving because nothing has been done. They mostly hire the younger generation who have never worked in an office before as most people who come in with experience tend to leave within a month due to the terrible working conditions and lack of morales and culture.

My boss in Houston, Texas is very, very, very supportive, love him so much! He is very considerate, not condescending and very respectful, he listens to each employee, and if any concerns he has a listening ears, not judgmental. His goal is to earn good camaraderie not to lose any employee at all means, and will protect you. I am blessed to still be with them, and thankful for the entire leadership they know how to take care of employees. In return, I work quite hard for the success of this company, that is why 85 years and still rocking!

Everything, severely overworked, team leads are horrible and do not care about anything except for numbers, lack of help, lack of leadership, horrible high deductible insurance premiums, horrible work/life balance, ridiculous team meetings, unattainable expectations, low raises, low or no bonus pay, zero to no promotion opportunities unless you are a favorite, I could go on and on and on and on and on
