      Butler and Associates is a small but growing firm. *They are loyal to their employees and try to work with them when it is possible whether it is due to and illness in you family or a pandemic. For example, during the pandemic we were hit just like most business, but they did the best they could to help out everyone that worked here. *They are family oriented and that was a big plus to me when I first started here and is still a major positive. *There are so many great people that also work here and that helps out a lot too. *The pay is more than competitive for the work that we do and do reward you for the work that you put in. * There is room to grow with this company.

      As with any company, there are always areas that need to be worked on. The main one that sticks out to me is holding on to people that are not fit for the particular job that they were hired to do. This creates a resentful work space. On that note there have been great strides on improving that over the last few years.

      Thank you for your review, it was very detailed. We are glad that you feel we function as a family and that we care for our employees. You bring up the point about holding on to people that may or may not be a good fit. We do strive to give everyone a fair opportunity to prove themselves and we prefer not to hold on to individuals who are not productive or are disruptive. If you have concerns and are not comfortable speaking with your manager, we encourage you to speak with human resources. We value your feedback.

      Full time hours were offered in the summer.

      The attorney in charge of the law clerks, which were law students, was not able to give feedback positive or negative to allow us to learn in our role or understand what was expected of us. We were set up to fail and offered no direction when we did not do tasks up to the managers expectations. I was not informed my work was subpar and had no reason to believe it was.
