There's proof of what I mentioned. I have no negative write-ups for attendance or personal performances. Sexual harassment verbally and physically was reported and casually dismissed because "he doesn't know which girls can take a joke and which ones can't. " this report was on verbal and physical sexual harassment. a different time, a superior block me physically and threaten my life in a hallway full of witnesses and they did not get fired. They even leave on their own accord many months later and got hired back later on. Sadly, This place could have been the Start of the MeToo movement of small-town factory workers; that saying, It's a factory in a rural area where some people drive 30 minutes because it's the closest workplace, with a town population of 2300. Huntsville is the Hub for the county of Madison, which is over 80% white. The workforce is Caucasian, Hispanic, and Marshallese, most employees in a position of authority have grown up together and gone to HS together, and their siblings or children and children's spouses work there or will soon. Promotions, line job stations, GMP, safety, approval of Personal Absences, and overall treatment of employees are often subject to who knows who and who knows what about who; 2 people can have the same negative attendance points, one fired, one not. I was bullied by a nurse and the two safety managers they had during my time there for injuries received at work. Equipment was not replaced appropriately, causing injuries. Those who complain or report things or try and stand up for something are often targeted and made to feel uncomfortable, being treated with attitude or their position changes and not for the better; I've seen good Outside supervisors get hired who start out doing their job the right way, are picked apart until they either give up the fight or they move on. The company struggles with retention. I moved here due to a family medical emergency; before that, I spent 20 + years as a white-collar worker and 10 of those years as an accredited trainer with a focus on team building and conflict resolution. These comments are a reflection of my Butterball work experience. Not the community, but the Huntsville community has been incredible to me.

My experience was significantly impacted by the management style of my direct supervisor. Communication was often inconsistent and at times passive aggressive, with a strong emphasis on criticism and limited recognition of work that met expectations. The leadership approach leaned heavily toward micromanagement, with frequent scrutiny of day-to-day work but minimal investment in coaching, training, or structured development. Employees were expected to meet evolving expectations without clear, consistent guidance or actionable support on how to improve. Feedback was often focused on what was wrong without a corresponding effort to provide tools, examples, or mentorship to help close gaps. This created an environment where expectations felt unclear, shifted frequently, and were difficult to reliably meet. Over my time on this team, there was also a notable pattern of turnover under the same manager, including multiple employees leaving during that period. This contributed to instability and reflected broader concerns around leadership effectiveness and retention. At times, the overall environment felt demoralizing, with low psychological safety and limited trust in the fairness or consistency of performance evaluation and advancement processes. There were also perceived inconsistencies in how opportunities and promotion pathways were applied across employees, contributing to concerns about fairness and transparency.
