In my experience, these ideals did not match reality at the site level. I raised concerns in good faith and experienced discrimination and retaliation as a female engineer, which ultimately resulted in termination. Ironically, I was quickly hired by another major facilities firm (JLL) at the pay level I had been requesting, which highlighted how undervalued my experience was at CBRE and how inconsistent the application of its stated values can be.
