With so many insurance companies and investment firms in Canada. How do executives end up at CDSPI? It's simple, they are the individuals that wouldn't be promoted or move ahead at the big banks or insurance companies and they want a title + security so they end up at CDSPI. They spend their last years of employment doing mediocre work at a sad place. As long as they suck up to the board of the company, they will have a long career. Ask yourself. How is that some board members at CDSPI have been on it for 10 years or more. This would not be acceptable at a publicly traded company? They get around it by telling people the board has a one-year term limit and then get voted back in again. This is a loophole to create cushy positions for people to fly around the country going to meetings and seminars pretending to be important until they feel like retiring. Most real companies have board limits to prevent this kind of abuse from happening. It's unfortunate that CDSPI doesn't understand this and their clients pay the price. Use any other company!!
