Vantaggi
The technology you work with is interesting. That’s the only pro.
Svantaggi
You have to understand that there are some long-term employees at this company and the rest come and go like a revolving door. There is no plan for you to advance or become a long-term employee. Any ambition you show is seen in a bad light. You’ll work with outdated paper copy manuals that need to be updated, but there is no plan to update them, and you’re not allowed to update them, and will be berated in front of others for even thinking about it. Many people here have no tact or professionalism. You probably won’t officially have a supervisor, or if you do, it will be someone with no experience or training, or interest in being a supervisor, and he might be working from home anyway. As the other reviews say, there is not enough structure at this company. There is no personal leadership or mentoring. You probably won’t ever have any performance appraisal. No pay schedule or plan to give you a raise. Working hard or slacking off is neither rewarded nor punished, and they are unaware of either since there is little oversight besides the occasional storm of micromanaging. No means of tracking performance or productivity, no supervision. Many have poor social skills here and are mean-spirited. Expect to get berated in front of others if equipment malfunctions and it isn’t even your fault. The owner is very politically vocal, and it’s unprofessional. The company culture leaves a lot to be desired. This job will only be in your way of getting a good job. I worked a fast food job that had better management.
