      Great benefits, Lots of talented people. Good work/life balance.

      They make skilled engineers who stay temporarily learn French, because technicians resist to learn English for all of their career (20 years+). It creates a lot of frustration and deteriorates the quality of work. Additionally, because it is so difficult to get a permanent contract people with know-how leave without transferring their knowledge due to the frustration. Very often this leads to making the same work twice or more and decreases the efficiency of the whole organization.

      The employment process is very smooth and supportive. The technical team interviewed me for technical skills, and the HR is very supportive and helpful. Especially I haven't been employed by CERN previously, so I have a lot of questions. The employment team is very helpful and answered all my questions patiently. Also I like the job and my work very much.

      Maybe the primary communication method could be email instead of phone calls? I sometimes miss phone calls, but will check every email.
