The focus on safety permeates throughout the organization, from senior executives all the way down to field level utility workers which is critical for the hazardous conditions, weather or otherwise, that its employees often find themselves in. Also strong and disciplined financial management with a focus on all groups of investors, not just institutional shareholders.

Company should improve its processes around passing down institutional knowledge from senior or approaching retirement employees to more junior staff. Company should make greater efforts to ensure that engineering staff is gaining broad exposure to the business.
