riding in a train, some workers are good people despite the almost toxic work envoirment if you put that behind you and had 5 years at minimum seniority it wouldnt be bad.

Svantaggi

months of training in Winnipeg of high stress 90 percent testing to getting sent to your home terminal, training in an away terminal so you wouldnt even know your area. Every person in my training class spread out across Canada has been either fired or laid off for potentially years.

Pays decently well for first job out of college. My manager and team are very reasonable with expectations placed on new hires. Working after office hours (past 4:30pm) is extremely rare and only expected in emergencies.

Svantaggi

Very slow and/or limited job growth potential. Promotions into middle management are almost purely based on reputation with middle managers who are largely people with previous field experience. This is very disadvantageous to direct-from-college hires like myself and even my current manager.
