I recently concluded my stint with CSC and unfortunately it was a disheartening experience from start to finish. I can't speak for other departments but the brand protection department has truly mastered the art of creating a toxic work environment. From the beginning, the lack of transparency was evident. Job responsibilities were misrepresented during the hiring process, and what was promised in terms of professional growth and development turned out to be nothing more than a mirage. If you "climb the ladder" at CSC, don't expect a pay raise. They expect you to take on more responsibilities, more workload, more stress, for THE SAME PAY. This is unheard of in all of my professional experiences and honestly extremely insulting and completely demoralizing. Direction on job responsibilities and other important information are withheld leading to constant confusion among employees. The workplace culture was toxic, fostering an atmosphere of mistrust and competition rather than collaboration. The management seemed indifferent to employee well-being and everyone is only considered about "CYA." One of the most disappointing aspects was the complete lack of support for employee advancement. Constructive feedback was nonexistent, making it impossible to understand how to improve and progress within the company. The hierarchical structure stifled creativity and innovation, leaving employees feeling like mere cogs in a malfunctioning machine. Moreover, the compensation is WELL below industry standards, and any attempts to negotiate were met with resistance. I would strongly caution anyone considering employment with this company to think twice and weigh the potential consequences on their mental and emotional well-being.
